Delicious Hot Citrus Cider for Fall
Years ago I was introduced to the most delicious hot cider.
I’m not talking about regular apple cider here, don’t set your expectations so low.
I’m talking about a hot citrus cider with a variety of juices and spices.
I’m talking about a hot citrus cider made nice and slow so the aroma fills your entire house.
Are you with me now?
It’s a cold and rainy day as I write this and I know it’s not fall yet for many people but where I live the signs of fall are in full display and I am ready for some hot cider.
I got this recipe something like eight years ago from a friend that was in our church small group at the time.
I knew I needed the recipe after smelling and tasting it so she texted me some photos of the recipe from some cookbook.
Unfortunately this friend now lives a few provinces away and I have no idea what cookbook this was from to give credit where credit is due.
The ingredients are a little more on the complicated side for a cider – as in, it has more than two ingredients. But believe me, it’s worth gathering all the ingredients up so you can smell and drink this deliciousness.
My only complaint is that I haven’t made it enough over the years, but I declare this the year that ends! (My family may end up getting sick of it with how much I plan on making it this year.)
If you have a delicious hot cider recipe I would love to hear it!
